Business tycoon Ratan Tata is often in the news for his humbleness. Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata recently took to Instagram to share a picture of himself along with a ‘thank-you’ note, after reaching one million followers on the social media site.”I’ve just seen that the number of people on this page has reached a milestone. This wonderful online family is not what I had expected when I joined Instagram, and I have to thank you for it,” he wrote on Instagram.

As the post went viral, many users on Instagram jumped in and started praising the industrialist, while one user congratulated by referring to him as’ Chhotu’. ‘Congratulations Chhotu’, the Instagram user wrote. She was bombarded with criticism for calling the comment ‘disrespectful’ and ‘shameful’. Rata Tata came to her aid amid the backlash. “There is a child in each of us. Please treat this young lady with respect,” he wrote.

A few days back Ratan Tata had shared Narayana Murthy’s gesture in an Instagram story and said he was “truly humbled” by it. In his Instgaram’s post he wrote, “It was an honour to be awarded by TIEcon at the hands of a great friend Mr. Narayana Murthy”. A photo of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy touching Ratan Tata’s feet at an event in Mumbai went viral.

Last month he posted a picture of himself on Instagram that gave a glimpse of what he looked like in his days of youth. The refreshing recap racked up more than 200,000 likes within a span of few hours and attracted positive comments from the followers with many praising the industrialists for his impressive looks.
