UPGRADED FACILITIES AT WZO BHARDA HOUSE UDVADA WITH AUTOMATIC LIFT*

  • On Saturday, September 24, Avan Roj Ardibest Mah, WZO India held a Jashan Ceremony presided by Vada Dasturji Khurshed Dastur at WZO Bharda House, Udvada.
  • The occasion was Inauguration of the Lift in the two-floor modern structure with upgraded boarding and lodging facilities and services for devotees visiting Udvada at reasonable rates.
  • The ribbon-cutting inauguration was done at the hands of Vada Dasturji Khurshed Dastur.
  • The function was attended by WZO President Kersi Limathwalla, Secretary Jimmy Gadiwalla, Donor Gool Bharda and nearly 50 members of WZO India who traveled in a safe Volvo bus for an overnight stay at the upgraded facilities.
  • The trip was a mix of devotion for the Iranshah, fun and frolic and some serious discussion for further upgrading the facilities.
  • The members present voluntarily suggested that since WZO India is providing such good facilities and organising all year-round activities for its members at negligible fees, members should spontaneously contribute accordingly to their individual capacity and support the Managing Committee so that more could be done.
  • The Organisers announced upcoming activities of AGM followed by Housie and Dinner at Freemasons Hall and a Trip to Matheran at Lords Hotel which was very well received.
  • The management was very appreciative of the efforts put in by Secretary Jimmy Gadiwalla and Treasurer Percy Mistry for upgrading the facilities and installation of the lift and organising the trip.
  • The management also puts on record the untiring efforts of Nozer Meherji, Percy Mistry and Rohinton Irani who are responsible for initially setting up this facility.
  • The management is also appreciative of the constant support and cooperation of the WZO Bharda House conductor Manchershah Daruwalla who kept things going especially during adverse times of the pandemic.
  • Complimentary messages poured in for excellently managing the trip and mouth-watering lagan nu bhonu served.
