World in Progress: India’s Parsis fighting for survival

The Parsis, decendents of Persia’s Zoroastrians, are a tiny religious minority in India, they are well-respected and are unusually succesful in fields from business to arts and sciences. Yet because too few babies are born, the community is dwindling and now facing extinction. A fertility program is now encouraging couples to have more children. Will the community survive?
