NEW AMBULANCE OF RUSI MEHTA WELFARE CENTRE

In May 2005, Rusi Mehta Welfare Centre at B.I.T Chawls, off R.S. Nimkar Marg, Mumbai 400 008 operated a Tata SFC 407 Ambulance for all but mainly for the residents of Municipal D-Ward giving completely free ambulance service to anyone who sought such service without any distinction of Caste or creed.

Since Ambulance life as per RTO guidelines is only for 12 years, a new Ambulance was ordered from Seema Enterprises in June 2022 being Force Traveler Ambulance worth about Rs.19 lakhs and has been put in service by the Welfare Centre from 08-08-2022 mainly for residents of D – Ward. It will also give completely free service to anyone desiring ambulance service from its garage at R. S. Nimkar Marg.
