BPP Trustees meeting with Union Leader Chandbibi Zaidi along with the pallbearers of our Doongerwadi

Dear Community members,

Earlier today we had a meeting with the Union Leader Chandbibi Zaidi along with the pallbearers of our Doongerwadi in regards to the handling of Parsi/Irani Covid bodies. Certain requests were made by the staff in regards to their safety along with their families. After a healthy discussion and agreeing with their requests, we are pleased to inform you that the pallbearers have graciously and selflessly agreed to lend their services to give “khand” to a Parsi/Irani covid victim.

Henceforth, god forbid a Parsi/Irani passes due to Covid, his/her body can get taken to the Doongerwadi and consigned to the dokhma that has been identified only for Covid victims.
