Actor Boman Irani treated Anupam Kher to a variety of delicious Parsi dishes
Parsi cuisine is a paradise for all foodies out there. The food is rich in flavors and textures, and would surely take your tastebuds on a ride. Actor Anupam Kher just had a chance to taste some authentic Parsi cuisine at none other than actor Boman Irani’s house. Anupam posted a couple of videos on Instagram Stories where he is standing close to the dining table that shows the yummy and lavish spread. The treat was prepared by Boman Irani’s wife, Zenobia Irani. Anupam tagged the couple and thanked them for the meal. Anupam said, “Zenobia, thank you so much. This is a great feast.”
Further in the clip, Boman introduces the dishes as “sali aloo marghi”, “prawn kebab”, “Parsi dhansak” and “kachumber”. We could see some rice preparation and chapatis – all arranged on the table. Anupam says, “Thank you Mr Irani.”
Take a look:
Sali Marghi is a dish that includes tender chicken pieces wrapped in delectable masalas and topped with shredded fried potatoes. Dhansak is inarguably one of the most famous Parsi dishes, where a classic blend of masalas from Persian and Gujarati cuisine is used as a base for meat
Anupam Kher has a soft corner for food and he loves trying a variety of cuisines. Few days ago, he was in New York where he enjoyed a desi lavish spread with actor Jugal Hansraj. Anupam gave us a glimpse of the same on Instagram. He recorded a quick video to show every dish kept on the table. He had paneer, aloo gobhi, sukhe aloo, baingan bharta, and rajma. We could also see some soft fluffy rice to accompany all the curries and some dahi bhalle as a part of the lavish spread. Read more about it here.
