Doongerwadi – BMC Pipeline

On Friday evening (July 9) a malicious whatsapp message was circulated against me by Trustee Kersi Randeria who is once again trying to create disharmony within the community.

Despite knowing the facts of the meeting held at the Doongerwadi, he has lied to the community to create hurt and hatred amongst us.

I request you all to please spend a few minutes of your precious time to read my attached detailed reply in the Parsi Junction that not only explains all the true facts about the BMC water pipeline at the Doongerwadi as well as details of Friday’s meeting between the BPP Dept Head & the BMC but also clarifies all thee baseless and malicious aspersions Mr. Randeria has cast on me.

The waterline laid by the BMC at the Doongerwadi has been running since 1918! These lines have been partly over and party underground in the Doongerwadi. After the landslide, temporary lines were laid up which the BMC now wants to remove after relaying the old lines in a better way, as the old pipes were either destroyed or are now corroded.

Mr. Randeria has been aware of the above yet he has intentionally spread false information to the community.

Mr. Randeria had spoken to Mr. Baig, BPP’s Projects Dept Head, before the meeting with the BMC representatives. He knew what the meeting was about from the start.

As you can read from the above, this entire episode has been blown out of proportion by Mr. Randeria. This is another instance where (to create hatred within the community), Mr. Randeria has lied and mislead the community – to spread disharmony.

I have been a trustee for over five years. During the course of my term Mr. Randeria has wished my father dead in front of the entire Board, imitated and mocked my mother at a Board meeting, beaten my brother, mocked the legacy of my late grand-father and much more. He has even threatened to go after my job. When the landslide happened at the Doongerwadi, Mr Randeria was no where to be found but today he is cussing me and my family for the work we did when the community property was in dire distress.

Despite all this I keep requesting him and the Board to work together harmoniously towards a brighter and more prosperous future, not just for the BPP but for the entire community.

Please do expect a cussed reply from Mr. Randeria once again raking issues against my father and me. This is the only story he has to harp against my family becuase he knows only hatred will divide this community.

I can only hope Better Sense Prevails! Stay safe and be happy.
